Hey, that’s the way they spelled it. Ask them, not me. I guess that kind of misspelling is great for marketing/SEO, but I find it annoying. Anyway…
Errotica-Archives is a sister site of MetArt. As the name suggests it’s definitely erotic but, after viewing MetArt, I guess I got spoiled. Although Errotica-Archives is also filled with really, really hot, sexy, naked women, the site just isn’t as nice as MetArt. Errotica-Archives lacks the artistic class of its big sister MetArt. Don’t get me wrong―the women aren’t any less hot, sexy, beautiful or erotic. In fact the women are absolutely amazing! It’s the site itself I wasn’t expecting.
Upon logging in you’re greeted with:

That’s nice. Large, high quality images of beautiful naked women are always appreciated. But if this is “new” and “improved,” it makes me wonder how bad the navigation and site design was previously.
The Surfing Sucks
I have to get this out of the way first, as it quite hindered my enjoyment of the site. The top navigation bar has a LOG OUT button as the first, top-left choice, followed by News, Updates, Models, Movies, LiveCams, MyFavorites, Downloads and Support. I can’t remember ever coming across a website of any type that had a Log Out button in the top left corner and not a button back to the home/index page. It seems that they decided to set up their site to have their News page as their home/index page. I find that an odd and confusing choice. Their top navigation is presented in grey text on a black background while the page you’re on is a bold white. The various oval buttons to take you to different parts of the site have a slightly lower reflection, with grey text that highlight in neon-green.
I also really disliked the Next and Previous model sets―of different models―inserted into the middle of each model’s photo set page. I found it confusing at first and then just distracting.
If I’m harping on the design aspects, it’s because I know good and bad design when I see it. This site seems old and quickly/poorly tossed together. There’s no word to describe except for “Microsoft Frontpage/WYSIWYG/90s-website-esque.” Yuck.
On the plus side, I do prefer the neon green navigation text on Errotica-Archives to the gold version on MetArt. They also include a small (one page) support section, for what that’s worth. They even have a Radio section, though I didn’t play around with it. Nor did I try any of their LiveCams.
The Porn’s a Little Raunchy
There are thousands of amazingly beautiful women to view. You can search via name, country, age, hair, eye color, bust size and even sign. Yes, you read that right, you can search by Zodiac sign. (I, of course, had to search and view a bunch of my fellow Libras.) You can also search by Top Models, Latest Models, Casting or Alphabetically. The movies and photo sets are searchable by Latest, Most Wanted and Top This Month.
The images on Errotica-Archives are more “porn” than “art,” but there’s nothing wrong with that in the slightest. It is a porn site after all and hot, fit, naked women make for good porn viewing. The women on Errotica-Archives are decked out in more accessories and outfits than on MetArt, which can be either fun or distracting, depending on what you’re looking for. Personally, I enjoy raunchy, dirty porn and Errotica-Archives definitely has more of a raunchy, dirty feel than MetArt (which was quite hot in its own right).

The photo sets have images in Small/9MB, Medium/30MB, Large/119MB and some also have Extra Large/141MB photos for you to view and/or download. Having the Extra Large option is really nice when you’re dealing with women who look this good.
I really wanted to check out the “Top Model” Giulia with her long, brown hair and mesmerizing blue eyes, yet when I clicked on her Top Model photo I got a Page Not Found error. Thankfully I was able to view her page via the Models section linked through the top navigation bar.
Hot damn, she’s amazing―and a fellow Libra, too! She’s also Russian, which is the majority of my heritage. In fact, the three models I was most attracted to all happened to be Russian―and two of them were Libras, too. (I wonder if that says something about me? LOL!) Anyway, I went through Giulia’s photo set ((in large size images as, sadly, Extra Large was not available)) and spent quite some time getting off to her photos before moving on to check out the movie section. Unfortunately she doesn’t have any movies posted.
The Surfing Still Sucks
The movies are available in .divx, .mov, .wmv and iPod formats at 1280/720 HD resolution. Get this―you can’t watch the videos on the site! You need to download the .zipped file and play it on your computer or iPod. They do include a link to update your codecs if you’re unable to view the movie once you’ve downloaded and unzipped it. I was disappointed I could not view any of the movies on the site and I did not download any of the movies.
Mixed Messages
Overall I enjoyed reviewing this site for Liquid Whispers–as did my girly bits-―because the women are hot as hell. On the other hand, I had some serious issues with the site design and navigation that really took away from my ability to enjoy the site.
Clean up the technical stuff, Errotica-Achives, and I’ll come back again and again―because your girls are really worth coming over!
